Bridging Nations: EDN Abogados at the heart of the Belgian State Visit to Chile.
Last week, EDN Abogados (represented by Felipe Díaz Toro), had the honor of participating in the State Visit of Their Majesties the King and Queen of the Belgians to Chile, proudly representing Belgium through the BELGOLUX, Cámara Chileno Belgo Luxemburguesa de Comercio A.G.
Our firm took part in several key events that highlighted the strength of Belgian-Chilean relations:
- Monday – We attended the official reception hosted by FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade at the Club de la Unión, celebrating 30 years of bilateral relations between Flanders and Chile alongside members of the royal delegation and Flemish business leaders.
- Tuesday midday – We were present at the official lunch at La Moneda Palace, hosted by President Gabriel Boric, where authorities from both nations gathered to deepen diplomatic and economic cooperation.
- Tuesday afternoon – We participated at the Economic Forum on Sustainability and Energy, a platform to showcase Chile’s strategic role in the global energy transition and its appeal for foreign investment, hosted by FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade and AWEX Santiago - Oficina Comercial Embajada de Bélgica en Chile.
- Tuesday evening – The State Visit concluded with an Official Reception at Palacio Cousiño, proudly sponsored by EDN Abogados. With over 300 distinguished guests—including Their Majesties, ministers, senior officials, and business leaders—this event was a true celebration of bilateral collaboration.
